Winery Review: 95 % Cabernet Sauvignon with 5% Viognier this certified organic winery produces outstanding quality at reasonable prices offering classic Cabernet flavors of fresh herb, olive, cedar and cassis. Focused and intense, with a charming rustic side and broad tannins that firm up on the finish.
Personal Review: The aromas of the wine overwhelmingly consisted of cranberries and grapes. However, the taste was a lot more interesting. Along with the jammy flavors, this wine was earthy, dry, hay-like, grassy, cedar, slightly smokey, and tasted a little like how a barn would smell. This wine was certainly interesting but I have to say I was not a fan of it. I am starting to discover if wine is really musky, earth, or wood-y, I do not particularly like it. I did not have this wine with any food.
